Starting to the Covid free tourist corridors.
With a recent ordinance, the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza established on an experimental basis the “controlled tourist itineraries”.
These are tourism trips to be carried out according to specific health safety measures expected for departures, arrivals, stay in selected accommodation facilities, trips and excursions to non-EU destinations.
To take advantage of the corridors there will be needed of having the Green Pass and an antigenic or molecular swab with a negative result maximum 48 hours before departure.
The destinations are: Maldives, Seychelles, Mauritius, Egypt (only Sharm El Sheikh and Marsa Alam), Dominican Republic, Aruba. The rules include the possibility of online check-in, the mandatory use of the surgical mask or Ffp2 / Ffp3 for the entire duration of the trip to be changed every 4 hours (children under 6 years or people with pathologies are exempted), the sanitation of hands and armchairs and Hepa ventilation. Other provisions concern a whole series of measures to be taken during the stay. Finally, a “Covid” health insurance is mandatory for protected repatriation and on-site assistance.
