Tourism, measures for recovery.

From the 80% Superbonus to the guarantee fund for SMEs, a package of about 1.7 billion is on the way to not lose EU aid – RRP tourism.

The objectives include the redevelopment of hotels, bathing establishments and accommodation facilities, the financing of new initiatives under 35, women’s businesses and investments for activities in the South.

These are implementing provisions that must come into effect before December 31st 2021, as requested by Brussels, and guarantee the renewal of 3,500 structures by the end of 2025.

The article in Il Sole 24 Ore analyzes the planned measures in detail:

– 80% super bonus for hotel companies, agritourisms, spas, bathing establishments, marinas, theme parks, fairs and congresses;

– non-repayable grant for a maximum amount of up to 40 thousand euros;

– creation of a special section dedicated to companies in the tourism sector of the guarantee fund of SMEs;

– revolving fund to support businesses and development investments in tourism;

– tax credit for the digitalization of services equal to 50% of the costs incurred to improve the offer of travel agencies and tour operators, up to a maximum of 25 thousand euros.
