Coldiretti estimates that over half a million Italians over the Easter weekend, of the 12 million who will travel, will choose a farm as their destination for their trip.
Based on the information provided by Campagna Amica, Italians who choose one of the 25,400 farms in the area, are driven by the desire to spend their holidays in places sustainable in terms of cost, distances and respect for one’s own well-being.

In this sense, the protagonists are the small Italian villages and a range that combines good food with sport, cultural activities, excursions and nature trails.

A growing trend is also the use of spaces provided by farms for outdoor camping. Even the zero kilometre cuisine is one of the reasons that pushes towards choosing to spend a vacation in the countryside.

Easter and spring holidays will be the first big test in view of the summer: the first data confirm that the farm has definitely entered the heart and habits of Italians.
